Clay County families, mark your calendars: the 2025 Clay County Back to School Bash is happening Saturday, July 26 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Thrasher-Horne Center, hosted by St. Johns River State College.
This highly anticipated annual event, presented by Saved 2 Serve and Seeds of Love Outreach, is dedicated to empowering local students from elementary through high school with the tools they need to start the school year strong—completely free of charge. Families will experience not only tangible support through supplies and services but also the peace, love, and joy that this event is designed to share with every attendee.
Our Mission:
To equip students with backpacks, school supplies, new clothing, and more, so they can begin the school year confident, supported, and ready for success. Every family and child who attends will feel God’s love in a powerful, practical way.

What’s Included (While Supplies Last – Students Must Be Present):
- Backpacks filled with school supplies
- Clothing bags for students
- Brand new socks and shoes
- Hot breakfast provided by The Grub Brothers
- Grocery distribution for families
- Access to local community resources and support organizations

- Free student haircuts courtesy of Valkyrie Hair Design & Studio
(Vouchers distributed at Thrasher-Horne; cuts take place at 179 College Dr., Suite 16) - Back-to-school physicals provided by The Emmanuel Project of NE Florida
- Vision screenings and eye exams courtesy of Vision is Priceless
Note: Medical services will be available across the street at The Way Free Medical Clinic (302 College Dr., Orange Park).
